DRAWING & PAINTING Hybrid - 5 weeks, THURSDAYS, May 1st – 29th, 5:30 - 8:15pm
Open to beginners and those who would like to revisit or expand their practice.
This study will focus on using traditional techniques and experimental approaches to investigate color, light and form.
Projects are designed as an opportunity to learn fundamentals of drawing and painting, often combining the two. We’ll work conceptually and from observation, dealing with objects and ideas.
We’ll become familiar with wet and dry media such as: watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, water soluble graphite, pastel, charcoal, ink & ink wash.
*Most Materials will be provided.
A sketchbook is needed. *Recommended: Canson XL mixed media pad, 9x12 or 11x14.
- Any drawing & painting materials you already have are welcome.
