This workshop is an opportunity to become familiar with watercolor painting techniques. We'll cover a lot of territory in a short amount of time.
To begin, you'll be guided through an approach to composition, working with texture, light and shadow through a simple drawing exercise.
Then, we’ll engage in “serious play” as an introduction to the vibrancy and subtlety of this fluid medium, learning how watercolor behaves, mixes and layers. Our goal is to create a landscape painting from a photo reference.
